Strength in Weakness

Philadelphia was told, “You have little power, but you have kept My Word and not denied My name.” That is God’s formula for victory. It is not about how strong you are. It is about how faithful you are.

Think about a small child holding the leash of a big dog. From a distance, it looks impossible. The dog should pull the child down the street. But what keeps the child steady is not his own strength. It is the fact that the leash is wrapped around the father’s hand. The strength is not in the child. It is in the one holding him.

Believers often feel weak in a world that looks powerful. We do not always have the money, the influence or the numbers. But when we stay loyal to Christ, we are connected to His strength. Our “little power” becomes enough because His power never runs out.

Our “little power” becomes enough because His power never runs out.

Overcomers are not the ones who never feel weak. They are the ones who stay connected when they feel weak. They hold fast to Christ and refuse to let go. The world may underestimate you. Your circumstances may overwhelm you. But when you cling to His Word and His name, you have more than enough to overcome.
